Karen Fox is the award-winning author of paranormal romance and YA urban fantasy; the Dogwood Series is her first foray into books without a “woo-woo” factor. She is retired from working as a Technical Project Specialist for The MITRE Corporation where she designed web-based applications. Torie FoxTorie Fox is a Business Intelligence Analyst–more commonly referred to as “The Reporting Nerd”–at a bank headquarters in Denver. An aggressive multi-tasker by day and a social moth by night, she has been a Pikes Peak Writers Conference volunteer since she was eight years old, where she placed in the top three for her Flash Fiction for five years.  “Small-Town Treasure” is her first published story, and she’s over-the-mood excited to be a part of Dogwood.


Laura Hayden

Laura Hayden was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. The wife of a career military officer, Laura has moved with surprising frequency and practiced efficiency from Alabama to Texas to Virginia to Colorado to Kansas back to Virginia to North Dakota to Montana, Colorado, Alabama, and finally back to Colorado.  Laura now lives in Colorado Springs, where, besides writing, she owns Author, Author! Bookstore.
